ISC is an inflation-resistant stablecoin that is designed to steadily appreciate in value over time. Unlike USDT & USDC, ISC is not pegged to the US Dollar. Instead, ISC is pegged to the value of a basket of real-world assets.

Backtesting between 2000 and 2023 highlights ISC's strong performance: a 3.11x increase in value and a 5.06% annualized return. In this sense, ISC is crypto hard money because it is a currency supported by tangible, real-world assets.

ISC increases in price as the underlying basket of real world assets generate returns.

Simply put, ISC increases in price as the basket of real-world assets increases in value. As a consequence, ISC offers a novel combination of price stability & inflation resistance. This is a significant improvement on USD-pegged stablecoins that diminish in value due to US Dollar inflation.

ISC Governance Token (IGT): Insane Community Oversight

IGT functions as the governance token for ISC and grants its holders membership within the ISC DAO. With this membership, IGT holders gain considerable voting authority and oversight responsibilities. Among their duties, ISC DAO members are tasked with deciding the specific composition of the underlying real-world asset basket and ensuring the safety and existence of these assets. The ISC DAO is a considerable improvement on Tether and Circle, which have absolutely no community oversight, allowing them to gamble with customer deposits while USDT & USDC users are left holding the bag 🤡.

A significant amount of IGT’s total supply (35%) will be Airdropped and Granted to early ISC Users & Supporters over the first 4 years.
