Introduction

1. Submitting Entries

• Each submission to a bounty or project listing will cost one credit.
  • Note: Grant applications and hackathon submissions do not cost any credits to apply.
• Credits will be deducted automatically when you submit your entry.

2. Monthly Credit Allocation

• All users receive three credits at the start of each month.
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next month; they reset on the 1st of each month.

3. Earning Bonus Credits

• Each win in a bounty, project listing, or a hackathon track (any podium finish or bonus rank) or getting a grant application approved will reward you with one bonus credit.
• Bonus credits will be applied in the following month's credit allocation.
• Earn Pro users receive one additional submission credit every month, providing more flexibility to apply to high-value listings.

4. Spam Penalties

• Sponsors can mark bounty/hackathon submissions and project/grant applications as spam. One credit will be deducted from your balance in the following month for every submission/application that was marked as spam.
  • For example, if one bounty submission and one grant application of yours have been marked as spam in April, you will receive a total of one submission credit on 1st May. The math is simple:
    • Renewal credits: 3
    • Credits deducted because of spam: 2
    • Final credits for May: 1
• This ensures users are encouraged to submit thoughtful and high-quality entries.

5. Credits Refunded

• If a user submits to a listing that later gets unpublished, the submission credit for that listing will be automatically refunded in the following month.

6. Referrals

• You can earn extra credits by inviting friends to Earn through your referral link or code.
• Credits are awarded in three cases:
  1. When a referee signs up with your link/code and completes their profile, you get 1 bonus credit.
  2. When a referee makes a non-spam submission, you get 1 bonus credit.
  3. When a referee wins, both you and the referee get 1 bonus credit each.
• Credits are rewarded after your invitee makes a non-spam submission to a listing, upon winner announcement and are issued in the following month.
