Listings can be split into two categories, depending on whether only selected people, or anyone can work on them:
Projects
The sponsor solicits applicants based on a custom questionnaire and selects the best applicant that gets to complete the scope of work.
Allows for more control / collaboration over the entire process; relevant when giving exact iterations and feedback are important.
Examples: Develop a website, develop a discord bot, etc.
Bounties
These are competitive, permissionless tasks. Describe the scope of work to get multiple people to complete it.
Great for raising awareness, and getting various options; relevant when the work doesn’t require close collaboration and/or is short-term.
Examples: Long-form essays on your project, industry research, dashboard design, content creation, etc.
